Fudan Microelectronics sponsors Somerset County Asian-American Festival

The Somerset County Asian-American Festival was held on October 5, 2008. Governor of New Jersey, Jon Corzine, and Assemblywoman, Linda Stender, were among the specially invited guests. During this Festival, Dr. Wei Zhong, the VP of Shanghai Fudan Microelectronics North America Operation, had an opportunity to greet Governor Corzine in person and introduce Fudan Microelectronics to him. Governor Corzine welcomed Fudan Microelectronics to set up its North America office in New Jersey and encouraged Fudan Microelectronics to make contributions to Sino-America business relationships. Dr. Zhong believed this Festival was the best opportunity for Chinese-Americans to be involved into the mainstream of America and to demonstrate their political power during this election year. Fudan Microelectronics was glad to be one of the sponsors to this event, and happy to be involved in its community. Dr. Wei Zhong even had the chance to take a photo shoot with Governor Corzine during the event.

This Asian-American Festival was initiated and supported by many Asian community leaders including Edison Mayor Jun H. Choi, West Windsor Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh and Montgomery Mayor Cecilia Xie Birge.
